Sure I do. It was an accident that happened to a young lady 17 years old. It was worse because not only did a young man die, but a young man that was dating Ms. Laura Welch. You, in your infinite stupidity, are trying to make more of it than it was...jealousy is hard on you isn't it?

The only "special" treatment she got was as a minor, not everything was disclosed. It is the same way now. What makes you believe she got special treatment?

The young man was thrown from his "car" I say "car", because the Chevy Corvair was not much of a car. You go get in a Corvair and let someone hit you (and this was before seatbelts) and see how you fare. And what makes you think Laura Welch was "rich"?

I believe many people let this story try to fade into history, because it was a tragedy that cannot be changed, yet it still pains Mrs. Bush, and the family.

By the way, from one account I read, the father of the young man killed was following his son close behind, yet there was no uproar from him, save the agony of seeing his son die.

There is one more thing that should interest you.......LAURA AND HER FAMILY WERE DEMOCRATS.
