Have a good time. I have never been to that part of the country (the Northwest), nor have I yet been to Canada. My wife finally made Portland on a business trip a couple of months ago, and liked it. If we cannot make any headway through discussion of differences, all that is left is the sword. What can we expect of the world if those presumed to have substantial common ground as Americans and/or Canadians cannot manage civilized discussion?..........
