They were a threat to us and we're gonna make pro-America by attacking their country. Yet another purpose of this multi-purposed war. Oh...they are so happy to have us there. This action defines and legitimizes anti-Americanism for them and for the rest of the world. This is nonsense. The only reliable information available on this subject is that most Iraqis WANT us there: CBS reports the first ever public opinion poll in Iraq shows that almost two-thirds (65%) of Baghdad residents say they want the U.S. military to stay until Iraq is stable and secure; only 17 percent want American soldiers out now.
