The illegal fraud wasn't in the voting or counting, it was in the voter rolls themselves. That story didn't come out until after Bush was granted power. By then the mainstream media wouldn't touch it out of fear of a national crisis. Gore's people didn't even push it because it was too late. They held back out of patriotism, though legally they were entitled to sue Bush to get the White House. Greg Palast's impressive reporting for the BBC digging up the real dirt on the Jebster scams was more than enough evidence. He even quotes GOP consultants responsible for the voters scrubs admitting to their "mistake". The margin of "error" was in the tens of thousands. Way-way more than even the most optimistic Bush margin. Yes Gore won. Yet Bush on instead. granted it was very close, but if not for the illegal voters scrubs, Gore would have taken Florida by at least 5000 votes. gregpalast.com for the whole story
