Just musing back to DOD plans I don't think this is the directional change they had in mind.

Too bad we didn't take the time to assuage the feelings of other countries last year. Seems like we are not getting any support anytime soon.

Funny also that no one is calling the UN irrelevant in conjunction with the African Problem. We are boxed into a corner on this one. Because of past actions our Foreign Policy must now look squeeky clean. We need world opinion to start coming our way to get support in Iraq and new threats.
