OK, make a point of watching Kerry next time he's on C-SPAN with no sound bites just real-time engagement with a small crowd. You'll see how far he has come. Once accused of being cold, he's not just the opposite. Maybe it's something he learned or maybe he always had it in him but didn't care to use it. Anyway, he's well aware of the "cold arrogant" criticisms and has already overcome them completely. He's also funny and has taken on that Clintonesque quality of holding peoples' hands, putting arms around their shoulder, looking them in the eyes and patiently listening. He may not be your type but it works. I'm not exaggeratign when I say my girlfriend swooned when she first met him, and she's a Republican. gg
