Was there not a point around April 1 where according to your chart things also looked bleak. It then made a head fake and then resumed the advance hopefully not making a double top.

I am still in the black on this and I assume we can rely on the good judgement of our friends the South Africans (GFI) who are investing fairly heavily (I believe) in this.

HUI turned away again...

Turned away again at the gate to the "promised land" - big NEM was no help today...might have to finish gap filling down around 32.80.

Dent in the DMI for the HUI and a still questionable PPO are problematic. Actually, I felt GOLD held in there above $350 pretty well today...higher dollar and all that....If the "Crusty Swoon" does get us perhaps this is just a pause before the "break on through to the other side." Meeting by the ECB next week, I think it is, may keep things confused and on the defensive for a bit...holding about 151 HUI now will be a good sign of strength...

Check in with Gallemore - scroll down about half way...
Gold has no momentum, an accelerating downtrend line....looks like retest, then quick base in the mid $340s the most likely course....anything through $355 is a green light..
