the two books are very complementary and have made it a lot easier to follow the news releases.
I would say they should be required reading for any serous newcomer to the field

Hi Frank, I read "Barren Lands" some time ago last year and there were some posts about it here and elsewhere, also excellent reading re Canadian Diamonds is "Diamonds" and "Blood Diamonds" go to Amazon.com and use their search engine for Diamonds.

the above books are fascinating and must reading for diamond exploration junkies.

Fire and Ice is my next read.......
