You didn't say that choice was generally good., you gave it an absolute good by answering simply yes. I meant choice was generally good by saying yes. If I meant that having more choices is always and in every situation good I would have specifically said so. As for the choice of Botox treatments or breast implants or differently branded almost identical cars or the choice to smoke, or 4 different Drano products of which you say 3 don't work, the particular choice someone makes might not always be good by my standards but I don't want to impose my standards on everyone in these situations. Overall having the freedom to provide these choices and to choose among these options is a good thing and that's even just focusing on the choices that you present which have obvious negative sides. Many other choices have less obvious (if any) severe downsides. Tim
