Too high or too low? ;-). Non-US companies - regardless of industry - normally have big problems reaching US valuation levels.

Yes, I was aware of PDLI. I just didn't want to start a third section. My intention was not so much to give a complete overview over the billion+ contenders, but more to point out that some of these valuations do look strange. No-one has yet come forward and said that they think ImClone looks cheap and has an interesting upside.

What I really find "fascinating" are the number of companies without any approved product with valuations approaching or even exceeding USD 2 billion. That's a lot of money - even in times with a declining dollar value.
