I am not going to defend this man, but if you look into american history you will find examples of equally ghastly crimes. I'm not sure that you would. Crimes, even some ghastly crimes but I don't think any American president has acted like Saddam. But even if one had what would be your point? but I will remind you that the medicines you loosely refer were caught by the same sanctions that considered many of them dual use materials. Very few, if any, medicines would be considered dual use materials. In general Iraq was allowed to buy medicine. Tim
