I agree. Once they become show hosts their primary focus is to increase their audience.

I have seen Chris Matthews just as friendly to Dick Armey as he is to John Kerry. I dont think he's biased. But he does have his limits. He took Anne Coulter to the woodshed. He shamed her in front of millions of people. She was greatly relieved to get back on Fox where she was fawned over by Hannity and soft-gloved by Colmes.

I think this gives Matthews new credibility.
But my favorite of all is Bill Maher. Watch in July 19th HBO special where he spoofs GW Bush's patriotism.
