You should all read "The Iron Triangle" about Carlyle Group. This book exposes what we have now, the merger of private corporate interests like Carylye and Bectel with the defense industry friendly Rumsfield, Wolfowitz and Cheney types - to their former colleagues Frank Carlucci and Bush Sr. - to GW Bush who was also with Carlyle. And how do they make all their billions so quickly nowadays? Not just because of the DC revolving door and close cronism, but because of a massive increase in not only defense spending but black operations spending which gets no congressional oversight, and which feeds directly into no-bid contracts for the likes of Carlyle, Bectel, Halliburton and others. If you want to talk about corruption, this is it, folks. It doesn't get much more corrupt. And much of what the Bushies are spinning out there is to hide and cover-up the real business going down. Tit for tat, political influence and campaign dough for fat no-bid contracts, sucking up the billions from our treasury, oftentimes for needless programs or programs which are only rationalized by a neocon neo-imperialist and militarist philosophy.

Bush called today for more wars with anyone who threatens America. And why not? War means big bucks for this cabal and they can also spin it to steal elections like they did in November by scaring voters ewnough to snooker them into wars we dont really need.
