Follow the money. Bush-Bush Sr.-Enron-Lay-Carlyle-Baker-Reliant-El paso-Dynegy-Halliburton-Cheney-Duke-Williams - Dont tell me Bush-Cheney had nothing to do with the phony energy crisis. At the very least, they went along with the scam and helped protect it from prosecution. They also lied through their teeth about it at the time, telling us it was California's fault, market driven and that we needed 1300 new power plants ASAP or else we'd run out of energy. As soon as Jeffords switched parties there was a sudden energy surplus and prices plummeted. Why? Democrat subpoena powers. Dont be naive. The Texas energy cabal are ruthless, stealthy and think big when they make a sting. A lot was at stake for them so they went all the way with it, probably with help from the Saudis and Kuwaitis who afterall owed Bush and are very close to Bush, Carlyle, Cheney, the whole gang.
