Your post misses my main point. Technology will continue to make very significant progress. That will not fix all the problems in the US. That will not propel all technology stocks or the NASDAQ averages. It will drive my stocks much higher. Why? They provide the technology "picks and shovels" (basic technology, participants and enablers of many markets). They are leading edge. They dominate competition. They are well managed. They will be very profitable.

By the way, there is NO 90 or 65 nanometer production capacity on hand. So, capacity will not affect AMAT, ASML, KLAC, NVLS, ALTR, or XLNX.

"Previous bear market low valuations" may or may not be relevant. Current interest rates are very different. Please specify which past bear market low seems relevant to you. Remember, most, if not all, of the proponents of the utility of previous bear markets completely missed the no-brainer market of 2000.
