I've lived in Utah, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Virginia. I'd go back to any one of them in a heartbeat. We stay here for the jobs, but if my husband or I lost our jobs, we'd take our home equity and be out of here. The people, not the weather, make or break a place.

You get used to humidity. In fact it's much easier to get used to humidity than it is to get used to CA politics. I know - I've tried both.
