I believe lawyers have twisted the American justice system to the point that very little justice is actually dispensed. The ACLU in particular is one gigantic pain these days. They defend absolutely ridiculous causes. One of the most illogical stands they've taken is insisting mentally unbalanced people should be allowed to roam city streets and that cities have no right to gather the homeless on freezing Winter nights for their own protection. The ACLU defends child molesters & insists neighborhoods should not be notified if a dangerous child predator has recently taken up residence. That's not only ridiculous--it's an injustice to innocent children who cannot protect themselves.
