I have not followed this thread long enough to have seen your list, so am in no position to discuss the differences. To start, however, I believe it is easier to double a small company. Three of my list are in merger mode at the present: GNSS SSFT and ZRAN while ANAD is a likely candidate to be taken over. EMKR is partnered with GE [GELCORE ] ATMI is really a research oriented patent creating supplier of both materials and processes and will prosper from the transition to new processes and materials == amart cards, SDS, copper, etc. I agree that my list may not consist of gorillas, but is more geared to participate in what may be only a mild upturn. It is not a long term buy and hold list, altho hopefully some of them may end up that way.
