Richard Grossman, a British Zionist, wrote in 1955 that: "not only Egypt, but the whole Middle East must pray that Nasser survives the assassin's bullet. So now you're telling us that Nasser was supported by Israeli Zionists?? Do you believe this would have increased, or decreased, Nasser's standing in the eyes of the Egyptian public had this become known? And I wonder how Mr. Grossman altered his views when Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal in response to Eisenhower denying him the funds to build the Aswan Dam??.. Hawk
