He does politically. Brilliant Nerd. I would love to see Howie as the Dem candidate. He is another "McGovern."

But unless Kerry completely collapses, I don't think Dean can pick up the south.

My impression is that Dean can develop into a pretty dangerous opponent. He talks liberal, but his policies have been centrist and will be emphasized, if he gets the nomination

The front-loaded southern Democratic primaries were designed to destroy northern liberal candidacies like Dean's. We shall see.
