He basically said "That the brokerages were breaking the law was public knowledge. Therefore nobody can claim that they were injured financially by the brokerages unlawful conduct, since they chose to invest their money with them anyway" (or) To say that something instantly becomse LEGAL simply because you warn people in advance that you are going to break the law, is the single most stupid thing I have ever heard... .
