Tariq Azziz appears to be posting on the "Attack Iraq?" thread.

What other explanation can be given for someone in the Iraqi hierarchy, so enamoured with American culture that he would discourse in English, yet so promotional of the Saddam regime?

If you simply frame your response as "Well, Tariq, you may be writing a lot of "stuff" here, but obviously your motivations as an Iraqi supremo are pretty tranparent, and it is in your own interests, unlike other posters, to ignore reality."

Look at all the posts! Insert "Tariq Azziz" as the poster's name, and finally it makes perfect sense as to "why could someone be so 'dumb'?".

2. The American public can believe what it likes and the American public is more than likely correct....BUT no one in the Bush Administration has ever made a claim of a link with Al Queda....

From GZ's original post:

cnn.com

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush's national security adviser Wednesday said Saddam Hussein has sheltered al Qaeda terrorists in Baghdad and helped train some in chemical weapons development -- information she said has been gleaned from captives in the ongoing war on terrorism.

The comments by Condoleezza Rice were the strongest and most specific to date on the White House's accusations linking al Qaeda and Iraq.

The accusations followed those made by President Bush and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who earlier in the day said the United States has evidence linking Iraq and al Qaeda, but they did not elaborate.

See, the Bushies are hooked on this lying thing...and you don't even see it.

1. Evidence of and/or possesion of prohibited weapons:

Al Samouds.

I remember three missiles were found. And they were not ready for launch.

Chemical warheads.

Some warheads capable of being armed with chemicals were found. They were not loaded.

chem suits These items are not prohibited.

atropine injectors

What are these? provide a link please.

CE residue in the Tigris

CE residue? What are you talking about? Provide a link please.

Mobile bio labs.

Two rusty trailers that might have been part of a bio system, but that were not complete. In and of themselves they were of no threat.

I need to see some real evidence of WMD in large quantity as Bush exclaimed on several occasions. Ready to be deployed...ie imminent threat.

It isn't there. You have to use smoke and mirrors to even begin to infer a threat. I think you are full of fear. Bush likes his followers full of fear. It keeps you delusional and open to his message of pre-emptive strike based on lies.

3. The evidence that Saddam had no intention of disarming and abiding by the accords ending the Gulf War was overwhelming. 1441 drove the point home. Bush was the only one with the spine to act before a potential threat became another reality like 9/11.

And as of now there have been no WMD found.

So far I'm underwhelmed. 1441 drives the point home indeed. All the UN nations in agreement. And all said lets keep the pressure on Saddam. Let the weapons inspectors do their jobs.

Bush was the only one with out a brain. It's way more important than a spine. Even a jackass has a spine.
