The same arguments you make against homosexuality were made against minorities. 'Mongrelization' was feared because minorities were inferior, both physically and morally. The same intolerance that held blacks and other minorities as second-class citizens is now being directed at homosexuals by, get this, our 'Christian'-based churches.

These Christians simply cannot get past the point that since homosexuality is abhorrent to them, it must be abhorrent to everyone. It is certainly not to homosexuals; they feel as natural in establishing a lifelong relationship with a same sex partner as heterosexuals do with different sex partners. Many hold the same values for family, church, country, and our children. Many have their own children or adopt children to raise as their own, some choosing to adopt children that were considered 'unadoptable'. Many want to participate in normal, common, everyday events, like going to church, having their children play sports, etc. The only difference for many is that they have entered into a relationship with someone of the same sex.

The true degradation of our culture is when tolerance is shunned, freedoms are stripped, and we move back towards the old days of prejudice and hate.

<<After all, you people have slaughtered some 50 million completely innocent people>>

And the ugly head of Johannes Pilch is finally reared.

I've merely stated facts.

Meanwhile Christine Todd Whitman vetoed a partial birth abortion ban in New Jersey and President Bush condoned her actions by appointing her to his cabinet.

Just whose hands is this blood really on?

Who did you vote for?

You're just as big a tool of the left as the so-called leftists you demonize.

Moral crusading for political gain is the height of intellectual and moral destitution.

Steve

<<Riiight. If that were true, then humanity could exist without heterosexual coupling, without eating, without the use of our senses, etc... >>

You're full of ad hominem and straw men these days. I wonder if someone has assumed your identity.

You've argued that homosexuality is contrary to our fundamental biological nature and therefore tolerated at humanity's peril.

But nature has produced homosexuality, so it's certainly not contrary to nature.

Tolerance is seemingly an essential human quality for society to thrive in all its complex social manifestations.

And with specialization, it may well benefit us to have a certain percentage of non-procreators built in to the gene pool. It used to be old maids and elderly bachelors now it's homosexuals.

Evolution is about the survival of the species which in our case may well involve sustaining variety with tolerance even if that includes those who prefer recreational sex to pro-creational sex.

Your psuedo-scientific case against homosexuality is merely your own opinion with no basis in science. It is no different than creationism in that you're trying to pitch your religious views as science, trying to cast a wider net as it were.
