I am telling you why women ought not be in combat, pal. Has nothing to do with "parochial" attitudes and everything to do with the objective fact of general sexual dimorphism within the human species. Hey. I am a big guy. No kidding. I lift weights, am very active, am a hunting and fishing fiend and can run a marathon. I have met a whole heap of women in my day and have never seen one, even amongst the fittest of them, that could even hope to best me in a physical challenge. That is because genetically, I am better suited for such rigors than the vast majority of women throughout the entire world. Contrariwise, I have met plenty of guys who can outrun me, who are stronger than I and who have much more endurance. Basically, they are just plain better than I and I can find them a dime a dozen. Guys generally make better warriors than gals. Period, as a result, if I am ever hit on the field I will generally want a guy to help pull me out. That is why women ought not be on the field. It has nothing to do with boorishness or any such thing.
