Some food for thought...

Earlier this week, I saw a poll on the tube asking if "you feel more secure than a year ago". I didn't watch for the results, but a few events in the last 10 daze certainly answer how I feel.

About 10 days ago, my son repossessed the guns he had been storing at my house; they had been around so long that I felt like they were mine. Several daze later, I read the Patriot Act II. I've always been pretty much for gun control. I think Dad had a rifle which he inherited from a friend for a bit, but we never shot it. We never had any after I got married (for one reason, my ex had a criminal record and it could have sent her to da clink) until Hanabal's genetic father signed him up for NRA Camp and sent him back to us with a few rifles. However, since I no longer have a gun I can call my own,and since the PAII has at least been proposed, I'm buying one ASAP.

Do I feel more secure than last year? Hell, I don't even feel secure posting this.

Good night.

Rat
