I wasn't trying to imply it wasn't legal, just that it discriminates against the young.
So do SS and Medicare. The AARP is one of the third rails of American politics. Why don't we kill SS and Medicare and outlaw AARP while we're at it?

THe young eventually get the benefits of those. And Prop 13.

I don't want to pay for your services thats why.
GIMME A BREAK!

How do you propose to avoid this? I've paid for welfare all my life; I've never collected a dime. UNFAIR!

I don't have kids. I shouldn't have to pay a penny for schools, should I?

Oh, I've spent zero time in a jail or prison cell. Why am I paying for them?

OTHER PEOPLE pay for OTHER PEOPLE'S services all the time. The rich pay by far the largest part of federal taxes- -and hence of welfare. Why? They don't collect it.

But I am not interested in paying for some freeloaders services, it is as simple as that.
Well maybe you ought to become a REAL Republican and oppose large gov't and increasing federal power and expenditures for social programs. To get where you want, we need to back up at least 71 years.

I say drop prop 13, and all the freeloaders will be forced out of town. My employees and me will remain and our taxes and property values will go DOWN, WAY DOWN. Then the cost of living here will accurately reflect the true services we receive, not some subsidy of misc. deadbeats that happened to live here 30 years ago that passed laws to screw their kids so they could "retire on the house".
And while we're at it, we'll kick every one over 65 out of the state and tell the feds if the want Medicare money, the CHiPs will meet the US Army at the state border.

(wait- don't answer that, screwing others is probably ok with you)
Sounds to me like that statement applies to YOU.
