Lizzie, Thanks for your input, but I am not going to say too much here on this thread about "exporting jobs" because we want to focus on "semi-equip analysis". The subject you bring up "exporting jobs to India, China, etc" is one that deserves a thread of its own - and maybe there already is one on SI for all I know. People have strong feelings on this issue, including me, but I am not going to discuss the issue on this thread. Suffice it to say, this issue affects much more than the IT industry - I have seen it many other places as well as the IT industry with many resulting ramifications. I really highlighted Fleck's article because he chose to pick up on the back-handed upgrade of INTC last week - which this thread picked up on at the time and a few posts were made on the subject. Don
