The Palestinians hold key positions in the society (government, private, even royalty)

After how much turmoil and fighting? It's THEIR country Thomas.. They were there before the Hashemite's... It's all well and good that Abdullah married a Palestinian woman to "legitimize" his rule over a country consisting of 70% of her people. But let's be clear that it has been pressure upon the Hashemites to open up their system, FROM INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL sources, that has given them greater opportunity.

Eventually the Palestinians will ask themselves "WHY" they permit a Hashemite Arab monarchy to rule them..

But I see, by your retreat, you're at least minimally malleable to acknowledging the facts.

Again.. the "Palestinians" are nothing more than geographical "nation" of people. They are merely descendants of the people who have been exploited and subjugated by other rulers for centuries.

So if you're going to bitch about how the Israelis treat former Jordanians who were abandoned by their Monarch, then you need to direct the requisite amount of blame towards the Hashemites.
