The Bush team's next big move: Place the Democrats squarely on the side of the barbarian hordes of tort lawyers as the election nears. The biggest unreported story of the 2002 campaign was the huge reaction in many states against the damage done to the law by these gangs of looters. That will be taken to the national level by Bush/Rove, as the juggernaut rolls on.

Of course, the Democrats could avert that part of their pending disaster by acting like Americans for a change, and supporting reform of the tort system. The Democrats? NOT!...
