Kirk, You are correct, the table presented on growth does not say anything about why or how the revenue growth occurred. Acquiring companies is obviously a fast way to revenue growth, and some companies do it very well - and some not so well.

Also, as you point out, revenue growth is one thing, but more importantly is profit growth commensurate as well.

With respect to Agilent - one of these days I may find time to "overhaul" my list of semi-equip stocks. I started the list in 1996 with a group of 40 stocks - now it is down to 25 stocks. Maybe later towards the end of this year I can revamp the list and put some new stocks in the list like Agilent.

Don
