Not Claude, but I couldn't resist. Just want to comment on one statement. "If history is any guide, we're in the early stages of a multi-year bull market." Writer must not have meant U.S. history. There is pretty strong historical evidence that "bull" and "bear" cycles run about 14-18 years. This would be the first time ever that a bull went to bull after a 3 year pause. No prior bull market started with dividend yields under 2%. No prior bull market began with a P/E ratio higher than 22. (remember, interest rates were lower than today prior to 1960, so adjusting expectations for those two factors because of the "present low interest rate environment" doesn't wash).

I think he is wrong. This is a bear market rally on the SPX. The bear has much further to go.

As for the gold bull market, I also disagree with the poll. I am neutral and believe we are in a trading range. Hence my preference for junior exploration companies.

When will the gold bull start moving? I think within the next 6-18 months, after the current rally on the USD.
