Orca, All I can say is, that when any person sets himself up as a total dictator, the natural progression, throughout history, has been the desire to rule the world.

My reference to Syria, was that the WMD that Saddam had, are being hidden for him in Syria. What Syria may have, has not been discussed to any length, as far as I know. Somewhere, there are nuclear, and biological, weapons in the hands of some muslim nations. I don't think that can be questioned. The question is, who has them, who is their intended target (not much doubt about that), and when they will attack. When, and if, it happens, it is going to be a bloody affair.

As of now, I don't want any country to be bombed, ever again, but there is a fat chance of that happening. I know that war, in this day and time, is inevitable, but it is a fact that all of us must deal with in our own minds, and hearts. I will be doing very little, if any, posting on threads that have to do with warfare. Something happened that I cannot explain to you because I do not understand it myself. What man has done to screw up this planet, starting with when he could pick up a rock and throw it at another human, is a tragedy that, seemingly, will never end until some catastrophic event happens to shock mankind into his senses.

All I, really, want to do, is find a place somewhere in the mountains, with a couple of acres, and away from the urban sprawl that has polluted too much of the world, and live out the rest of my life enjoying nature in peace.

Nobody is all bad, or all good. That applies to both of us, and every other human on Earth.
