My take is PE's are always high early in the cycle because the "E" is depressed.
For example, take a look at JPM, which according to SI has a PE of almost 34. When it trades at a PE of 10 or 11, you don't want it because that's 10 or 11 times PEAK earnings.
So, no, techs with high trailing PEs don't bother me at this point in the cycle. In another year or two, maybe yes, but not now.

For those with true confidence ,or money to burn, or looking for a repeat of the old Qcom, NT, Yahoo days. .
SOHU must have chart out the gazoo.
I may try some with a stop in place.
I am not missing it entirely tho, as I see NTE is part of the Asian picture and just said they have rev of $116 mm vs expected $80 , and will report in @ July 25 marketwatch.com
And, anyway, it should help our own internet related stocks, with Yhoo reporting soon. (Wednesday)
.Yes, I guess we have some good support levels, with money coming in there will be buyers on any dips that occur.
Should not need major downside protection.
Excluding major global events.
Having better days now. Used to be you get up in the morning with one chance to guess which of three doors holds the treasure . Guess wrong and this really mean fellow dashs out and beats you with a stick until 4 PM when he dashes back inside with your money and locks the door until next morning at 9:30..Repeat the next day.
