Well, that's a surprise that the WH would even acknowledge Bush's "error". Now, they are saying the intelligence was wrong?!!! when they were the ones who ordered it up like a a Happy Meal at McD's because they didn't like the facts. There never, ever was cause to invade Iraq, which had never been a legitimate threat to us until now that we have invaded. It's almost diabolical.

elpolvo- "Knowing all that we know now, the reference to Iraq's attempt to acquire uranium from Africa should not have been included in the State of the Union speech," a senior Bush administration official said in a statement authorized by the White House, the newspaper reported. who is "a senior Bush administration official" ? ...and why is he apologizing for the content of the state of the union address? did he write it? and how can a white house authorize anything? give me a president who will take the responsibility for his own spoken words in the state of the union address and not delegate that task to an unnamed official or a white building. -mice elf
