Hi Tom, Yes, it set the stage for my fall. Then Greenspan soft-patch and no rate cut back Mar-Apr. Warren Buffets comments on not liking any stocks etc. Worn heavy on my optimism looking forward past Apr. I had turned what I thought to was a more reasonable expectation. I assumed others would temper themselves also after all we have been through....2000, 9/11/2001, etc. Now people expecting a return of 1998-99? So, in effect we learned nothing! Look at the market gains since Oct! Average stock has doubled! siliconinvestor.com Yeah, I'm bummed....I never had much money to begin with and have scratched out an income for over 4 1/2 years until now. Oh to the lucky people who try to eek out 15-20% returns.....I needed 30% just to survive. Unrealistic. I have no one to blame, I let myself down. I put faith in the wrong places. BTW, the daytrading rules...are just plain stupid. The poor are being denied equal access to the markets? Ok Mr Market...what's next? ttrader.com
