well California is a democratic state and the congresspeople here are fighting for options, so I don't think this is a partisan call.

The difference between Bush and Clinton wrt the tech industry is astounding. Bush doesn't even visit the tech companies here. Or if he does, it is a defense firm for maybe 1/2 hour. The dividend tax cut really put it to growth companies too. What a scam that was.

As far as companies that "rip off the little guy", the unions should take a look at the drug companies before tech. 100K/year for some aids drugs now, and some chronic illness drugs. Its not voluntary speculation like the stock market. Clinton had a balanced approach to this problem (not the Hillary plan)- he didn't allow this kind of price gauging from the drug companies. Its really extreme.
