Walt markets in general are unpredictable every so often some one comes up with a theory which works for a while and then many draw comfort from the illusion that markets are predictable. In hindsight every one counts the correct EW waves and at FIB numbers ratios. ......and there are institution who relay on that perception to buy into it or sell into it. Even the FED under AG, if I recall used the market psychology to make rate cuts, in 1998 and then in later years. If all folks would have believed that in July we will be at SPX 1000 do you really think they would sold stocks in Feb/March? Unfortunate financial markets are an inter winded casino with the FED blessing at the command of the administration in power. The sad part is that this phenomena is spreading from Japan to HK and possible to EZ
