Hi Bob, Anyone have a URL handy for Netscape 4.7? Try the following URL. Netscape 4.79 appears as the first option on my screen. download.com.com If that link doesn't work, then go to: download.com In the search box (at the very top of the page, slightly to the right of center), enter "Netscape" (sans the quotation marks) as the search object, and in the dropdown menu just to the right of the search box, select the "downloads" option. I'm running netscape 4.7 [not dot7something, straight 4.7 apparently] on windows 95, no problem with peoplemarks ever, nor anything like that, never heard of it before ...... there are sites around now that shut my browser down, freeze it completely to where i have to shut the computer off and start up again .... but SI is not one of them, once ihub ran an ad that did this, but i was able to tell you on SI and you blocked that ad right away onion.com is the most notable one that shuts me down [not funny you guys!!] ... also the Globe and Mail site, others sporadically when they put up those stupid flash adverts You can get netscape downloads from www.netscape.com .. ? ... think that's where i got this one, they give you a choice of multiple sites, you can pick one close so it will load faster [edit] - channels.netscape.com ... found that by diddling with the top buttons, 'help' this came from i think
