According to Yahoo, this is the picture as of June 9, 2003. Shares Short 91.8M Percent of Float 24.4% Shares Short (Prior Month)86.9M Short Ratio 8.48 Daily Volume 10.8M I have nothing more current. IMO their ability to produce some 270M cubic feet equivalent per day of natural gas for their operations, thus insulating them against high prices to some extent, is a big factor in the move. Calpine has a very low P/S ratio. If they get their balance sheet in better order and remove concerns about liquidity, I think CPN has a ways to go.
