bengali, I am just reporting what I see in the charts. It seems to work better in the shorter term if I don't color the situation with my opinions. Why is XAU already looking like it's forming a triangle when HUI has further downside before it could give that appearance? There are many questions like this. I don't know the answers and it's usually not important to figure it out. My only hope is that the market gives me a decent signal at a point that also provides me with more low risk entries. BTW, I'm up to 62% metals... all buying still on the Canadian side... AGI-V, TNK-T, and RMX-T today at or near their lows. vt

bengal, If you re-read Kenny Adams, he says, "I EXPECT GOLD TO VERIFY (OR FAIL) TO VERIFY A DOWNSIDE EXHAUSTION AND REVERSAL TODAY.", i.e. he doesn't know yet and neither do I. vt

HI bengali, I'm just playing the QQQ for a scalp, fun and excitement and well maybe I don't get out enough. 30% energy (20% trusts) rest is swing trade. 25% metal. 35% cash balance is misc. QQQ and whatnot... Did you really trade all your gold in for QQQ ? I just went through a very short period of NO PMs and just didn't feel good with no insurance. That last pop scared the poop out of me ;o) good luck regards Kastel EDIT. On the 'bottom' how long will it be 'in' before it is recognized ? It's always the same. Those who guess right always have to wait like the rest of us and then claim their victory in hindsight... We may see 330... I dunno. But last week seemed like a good time to start again..
