the shadow Sec. Treas. (he did not have to be confirmed by the Senate as Chief Economic Advisor wheras he would have as Sec. Treas.) formerly of Goldman Suchs, who explained the situation to Peter.

I'll bet it doesn't surprise you the Ken Leet, appointed by Bush as Peter's replacement is from Goldman.

I understand the real reason though is that Peter wanted to engage in the type of dialogue that we have on CFZ and did not feel it appropriate to do so while holding government office. While his resignation is effective October 15 I bet we see him around here before then.

BTW - do the casino's have a line on Bush getting re-elected?
