Yes. As during the seventies - our last significant experience with stagflation - I expect hard commodities to do well (and, as you mentioned, stock of the non-hedged precious metals mining firms).

The euro has already had a bit of a run... and China's currency is difficult to invest in, but I'm considering some of their higher dividend-paying stocks (like Buffett is) for a good, relatively safe, speculation....

Once they 'unpeg' their currency, it should appreciate about 50% against the dollar.
