This is a new concept for me (pb). So, George Orwell was concerned that a list of prominent "anti communists" were not truly critical of the system enough, so were in fact subversive communists? Very subtle idea that might work I guess. Quite honestly this concept is a little too subtle for todays debates I think. Proof we have had it too easy. Brings a whole new dimension of paranoia to the thread though.

Who are the "crypto neocons" and the "crypto anti-Iraq war" diehards on this thread?

Hmmmm, I have my suspicions......... -ggggg-
