The CIA says there was no connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam. Funny how the Bushies simply can't hear the truth. Yes Saddam did give payments to suicide bombers families. He did this to garner arab support for Iraq. The amount of money that Saddam paid to Palestinians was very small. Did you know that the largest supporter of terrorism in the Arab World is Saudi Arabia? Our own ally in the middle east has sent more dollars to terrorist groups than all other arab nations combined. Saddam's contribution is miniscule in comparison. Orca

There has been not even the smallest shred of evidence that Saddam had ties with Al Qaeda. If he paid the suicide-bomber families in Israel, that is Israel's problem. Are you saying that American soldiers should die for the sake of another country?

Funny how the neocons can rationalize Bush lying about WMD, nukes and Al Qaeda-Saddam connections in order to prosecute a unilateral war in Iraq which resulted in the deaths of more that 10,000 people... But they can't understand why Clinton lied about getting a blow job in the oval office. Most people lie about sex. I'll bet that 99% of the people on this board have either bragged about sex that they didn't have, or denied having sex when they did. Fortunately most people don't lie when it comes to declaring war. But Bush did lie. And he justified a war with lies. That is the highest crime I can think of, and I'm set to wonder why the impeachment process has not been started yet. Clinton lies about sex, something that almost everyone does, and the republican machine has the impeachment proceedings rolling in a few months. Impeach Bush. Orca
