Mq, do you have any earthly idea of the costs of running a network like the one you propose? You're not alone, I don't either. But there are lots of greedy bastards out there who can slice nickels and pennies 100x better than you and I can. They are simply not doing what the WiFi dreamers think is the future. WiFi is not that new. The greedy bastards who could make a business out of it haven't done so for a reason--no cash in it. I know this isn't exactly the best logic but it's the kind of thinking that should you make you pause before you throw all your QBucks down the gurgler chasing a dream.
