A lot of people in the middle are liberal on some issues and conservative on some other issues. For instance, with regard to schools, my motto is "No prayer in schools, no condoms in schools". So am I a liberal? Or a conservative?

Liberals are fine, but I'm more moderate. The only thing "wrong" with liberals these days for me is a Democrat candidate who's too liberal might not be able to win a few swing states. So forget about Howard Dean.

Otherwise, so long as he/she's tough, mainstream and fiscally conservative, I have no problem with a liberal. Of course that might mean he/she's a moderate.

Anyway, Liberals have been right about a great many issues. They're certainly right about the environment, that's for sure. And it's looking more and more like they were right about Iraq as well. Much to Bushies' mortification.
