No, most liberals are proud to be liberals. You're wrong about that. I have frequent debates with liberals. I share maybe 30% of their views but debate them on others. I want the democratic party to be centrist, tough but progressive on issues like the environment. That's where I stand. I am not for things like gay marriage or easy-to-get welfare, and I am for tax break for the middleclass but not the rich. I would give tax breaks up to $250,000 per year and above that only once we've balanced our budgets again. I would also give tax breaks for anyone creating good jobs.

I also share many views with traditional conservatives. I am for tough immigration policy, tough but lean mean defense, less foreign intervention, free trade, fiscal conservatism.

I am a democrat but I like the GOP moderates like McCain. They're keeping us from falling into the hands of the far right-wing, whom we've all seen now can be very dishonest, reckless, wasteful and unfair.
