I could but the point is that it doesn't matter. If you are truly investing and not gambling, your investment strategy will be independent of market prognostications. There is only one way to do that, which is to buy securities that are trading below their private market value and sell them when their discount falls - see Graham & Dodd, Buffett, Nygren etc.
