Criminologists estimate a perpetrator commits 10-20 crimes for each one he is convicted of. The 3-strikes law is intended to protect the public from habitual criminals who commit upwards of 50-100 crimes on innocent people.

Nobody in America ever went to jail for stealing a loaf of bread.

Panty Yields, This guy bought a pistol, made a tape of his intentions, killed his wife and two children in front of a friend and then called police. He plead not guilty. He had just finished serving the military for 20 years and retired as a First Sergeant.

Maybe the State of Texas should have paroled him to canada.......
