Crunch time apparently is September, to read between the lines. If it looks like the schedule is going to slip, then I'm sure the Democrats would be perfectly obliging. And they'll have Levin's WMD investigation going by the fall to add to Bush's discomfort.

I think we all need to keep in mind how different things are between Administrations.

With Clinton, we had a fishing expedition that lasted for years and spent $70 Million to find a stain on a blue dress.

Today, we have a stonewalling White House limiting budgets initially to $6 Million, and then grudgingly accepting a $14 Million budget for the investigation of the most horrendous terrorist attack the nation has ever endured. And the White House even demanded at first that it not happen, and then that it happen in 12 months instead of the 18 finally compromised on.

Just the differences here should be a huge red flag for the American public that there is evil in the White House today.
